Red Spruce (aka “Adirondack” spruce) top for archtop guitar. The piece shown in the photo(s) is what you will receive. Outline shown in photo has 17 inch wide lower bout. We get red spruce logs very close to our shop. Many say that West Virginia red spruce is superior to red spruce obtained from other regions in Appalachia - perhaps because it is not hybridized as is found in northern regions of the species.
