Red Spruce (aka “Adirondack” spruce) top for archtop guitar. The pieces shown in the photo(s) is representative of grade, your pieces will have similar features. Outline shown in photo has 17 inch wide lower bout. We get red spruce logs very close to our shop. Many say that West Virginia red spruce is superior to red spruce obtained from other regions in Appalachia - perhaps because it is not hybridized as is found in northern regions of the species.
